Premier's business model centers on enabling healthcare organizations with cutting-edge data, technology, advisory services, and group purchasing solutions. The company helps hospitals and healthcare systems improve performance through cost savings achieved via bulk purchasing, data analytics and benchmarking, sharing of clinical best practices, supply chain optimization, and strategic advisory services. This positions Premier as a critical infrastructure player in the U.S. healthcare system, making your creative work there particularly significant given the company's broad impact on healthcare delivery nationwide.
My first 2 years at Premier Inc. were spent as a senior designer and after getting promoted I spent my last 2 years as Manager, Design, Art Direction.

A Strategic Visual Experience for Financial Stakeholders
The Challenge
Investor Day 2021 was a pivotal event for Premier Inc. The company needed to present a clear, confident message to institutional investors, analysts, and executive leadership. The event was an opportunity to showcase Premier’s strategic vision, financial performance, and advancements in healthcare technology.
The task at hand was significant: design a fully immersive visual experience that communicated complex ideas with precision and impact. Every detail had to align with Premier’s brand identity and reinforce its position as a market leader in healthcare innovation.
The Truth
Investor events are about more than data. They are about trust, clarity, and momentum. At this level, design becomes a business tool—one that supports strategic messaging, simplifies technical content, and elevates executive presence.
For Premier, the experience needed to instill confidence. That meant creating a sophisticated visual system capable of matching the expectations of the financial world while translating dense information into clear, accessible stories.
The Work
As Lead Art Director, I developed and directed a cross-disciplinary design system that shaped every facet of the event environment. My approach combined creativity with strategic intent across multiple executional areas:
Environmental Design and Visual Strategy
Built a cohesive visual language across stage graphics, video content, digital media walls, and LED pixel mapping. This created an immersive, high-end atmosphere that matched the sophistication of Premier’s NASDAQ status.
Executive Presentation Design
Worked directly with Premier’s executive team to develop slide decks that translated complex financials and strategic initiatives into compelling narratives tailored to investors and analysts.
Brand Experience Integration
Designed every touchpoint, from entrance signage to stage visuals, to align with Premier’s core brand values and visual identity. The result was a consistent and confident experience across every layer of the event.
Technical Execution
Led the coordination of all visual assets, including print materials and live digital content, ensuring seamless alignment between design intent and technical delivery across multiple formats and technologies.
This was more than a design assignment. It was a strategic initiative focused on using visual storytelling to communicate value, potential, and performance.
The Results
Premier’s Investor Day 2021 was a success both in message and in execution. The visual experience helped elevate Premier’s brand narrative and supported key business objectives during a critical phase of company growth. The event reinforced investor confidence and strengthened stakeholder engagement, proving that strong design can move markets when aligned with strategic intent.
Premier Branding
Every year, Premier’s Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition brings together over 4,200 healthcare leaders and innovators to forge a path toward a more connected, efficient, and high-quality healthcare system. The 2019 event, held June 18-21 in vibrant Nashville, was no exception—offering a dynamic mix of networking, innovation, and inspiration. From renowned speakers like Mel Robbins, Carolina Panthers Tight End Greg Olsen, and Chris Christie to thought-provoking sessions, the event was designed to ignite collaboration across the care continuum.
For this project, I was deeply immersed in design and production, crafting a seamless and impactful experience for attendees. Collaborating with an exceptional team, my work spanned multiple facets of event design:
Experiential Design:
We brought the conference theme to life, ensuring every touchpoint—from entry to exit—immersed attendees
in a cohesive, engaging narrative.
Keynote & Presentation Design:
Delivered polished visuals and presentations for the CEO and President, elevating their messages for maximum impact.
Conference Guides & Signage:
Developed clear, intuitive guides, maps, and signage to help attendees navigate the event with ease.
This project combined strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail to create a memorable experience for healthcare leaders shaping the future of their industry. It was an opportunity to design not just materials but meaningful moments that inspired innovation and collaboration.
